What Is Hellraiser: Revival?

Clive Barker's Hellraiser: Revival is a first-person survival horror game by Saber Interactive, out on October 8, 2026 for PC (Steam), PS5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2 at $39.99. You play Aidan Lynch, who follows his girlfriend Sunny into the Labyrinth after a new puzzle box, the Genesis Configuration, summons the Cenobites. Doug Bradley voices Pinhead for the first time in nearly two decades.

It is a single-player story of roughly 8 to 12 hours: breakable melee weapons, scarce ammo, a Resident Evil style inventory, puzzle-box powers and Cenobites you escape rather than kill. The free Steam demo has 1,229 English reviews at 92% positive. Start with the launch time, the demo codes or the edition comparison.

Before You Open It

Five Things to Do First

Check your region. German Steam pulled the game in September and Japan reportedly has no rating; see where it is uncut or blocked.
Pick an edition. Deluxe adds the Nailer melee weapon and the '80s horror filter for $10 more; all five editions compared.
Play the free demo first. It is about an hour, runs well on most PCs and shows exactly how explicit the game is; what the demo covers.
Learn blunt vs sharp. Bats break armour, blades cut the unarmoured, and every melee weapon wears out; weapon list.
Do not fight the Cenobites. You cannot kill them; you hide, run or follow the rules of the encounter; how each one hunts you.

Is Hellraiser: Revival multiplayer or co-op?

No. It is a single-player story game with no co-op, online or asymmetric mode. The Pinhead you may have played in Dead by Daylight was a separate licensed chapter, removed in April 2025.

Hellraiser Revival Field Notes is an independent, unofficial fan resource for Clive Barker's Hellraiser: Revival players — not affiliated with Saber Interactive.

How we verify: Release times, prices and edition contents are copied from the Steam, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo listings and Saber's announcement posts on the day we check them. Demo solutions (locker codes, the skull puzzle) are only printed when at least two independent players report the same answer; a code with a single source is marked as unconfirmed.
Update cadence: Before launch: rechecked daily. On October 8 the launch-time page is updated hour by hour, and once the full game is out every walkthrough page gets a "checked against the full game" date as it is replayed against launch-day guides and patch notes.
What we don't do: We do not post leaked story spoilers, piracy or "uncensor" download links, or demo walkthrough steps we cannot match to real footage. One rival page lists a vestry safe code and a biker-alley opening that appear in no demo footage we could find; we leave it out.
